what i don't understand about the conservative individual responsibility rant is that when it comes to tobaco, alcohol and now fast food, it's your fault if you use too much and get sick or die but when it comes to pot which is probably less harmful than all of the above in terms of life expectancy, insurance costs etc. the conservatives can spend billions of dollars to put people who just use it in jail. imo, it is completely political and depends on who is supplying the campaign financing dollars.
