Ted, That's because it accepts that taxes are a part of life.

The Bible also accepted that slavery was a part of life. Ephesians 6:5, "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ."

This passage has been used in the defense of slavery all the way up to the American Civil War. Just because the Bible accepts something as a part of life doesn't mean it's OK.


Well, now that you've invalidated the bible, I hope you feel better.

The point still stands that taxes have been around since biblical times and its highly unlikely that they will be abolished unlike slavery.
