No time at all.

The technology is all in the US airports at this minute ready to roll.

Just kidding anyhow. US does not want democracy, they want their result.
Nothing wrong with that, just wish they would stop talking crap, about how they are doing this for the world in general.

Even when Saddam was found in a hole, he had documents telling supporters not to join/support Al Qaeda and the nutters.

So let's review.
He has weapons of WMD that he does not use even when all is lost.
He steadfastly refuses to join with Al-Qaeda, despite hiding for his life in a hole.
He has lots of oil, which he is not allowed to sell due to the embargo.

The detractors - France & co. - are not going to lend a finger of support yet alone a hand with, or without the UN agreement.
They see Bush as a pre-emptive (when it suits) isolationist hell-bent on using 25% of the worlds oil at an effective price of under 30 USD/barrel, whilst deliberately devaluing his currency by creating USD liquidity at any cost. Trust me, they would do the same in his position.

We are seeing the start of a major economic war IMHO.
It will be realised when Gold rises against all currencies, not just the dollar. I have no idea when this will be, as I fear that we may be seing a significant top in Gold.
But the rest of the world is not going to make it cheaper for Bush to secure exclusive access rights to the world's natural resources by conquest seeing as he refuses to pay the market price for things, as he devalues the dollar.

Having done this much, Bush would be an idiot to give up control. But until/unless he does, he will be on his own (with Tony).

This UN request will go as far as the others.
