Frankly, I too am surprised so many Iowans would vote for Kerry, as a vote for him is no different then a vote for Kennedy. I thought Iowans had more sense then that, but then I heard they are a very liberal state, something I didnt know. Of the candidates I have observed, if I were a democrat I would vote for Edwards. He seems to be the only one left that isnt some kind of demoguage. jdn

Dean sounded for all the world like that stupid-looking fat-mouthed Wellstone issue who turned his father's own funeral into an anti-American rally for the most diseased of the Democrats...

nationalreview.com

The anti-Bush theme is an expected part of politics. The Dems' job is to run against whatever Republicans are in office.

But the extremist Hate-Bush fever was shown up as a minor fringe fad in Iowa.

The Dems get clobbered in 2004 no matter how "moderate" the Dwarf they nominate. If they can continue to chase Dean out of contention, and STOP the irrational respectability they have negligently conferred on their pet fringe racist, Sharpton, they MIGHT just be around for another try in 2008...

Did anyone get to hear the whole of Dean's post-caucus speech? I was flipping the channels around and all I heard was a bit of the beginning of his address to his supporters, and then the stations soon switched to talking head analysts or commercials. And the soundbites that followed showed the same remarks. It sure looked to me like the media chopped him up. Frankly, I'd like to know what else Dean said last night during his address to his supporters.
