Neither do Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. In fact, the saying is, if a Wheaten barks you better do something cause there is a reason. Ours makes an excellent watchdog but unfortunately he is a terrier, meaning he is very wired and tends to jump all over guests, something many people dont like. So, we usually have to put him in his crate when we have company, unless the people know him well and like dogs. My jeeping buddies just ignore his jumping and he then stops, but if you get excited then he gets just all the worse. jdn
