You may be right on that one. We have seen less attack ads talking about WMD. Most Americans realize the PR was awful but the results are good for the world. Saddam gone, domino effect happening, e.g. Libya.

There will still be narrow minded people proclaiming lies and deception and that will bounce off most Americans. Euro complainers with nothing positive to add really eliminate any need for debate. After all, Bill Clinton's administration was convinced there was WMD. I bet Saddam had every western intelligence agency convinced. Saddam was a good bluffer and when called, his hand was a loser.

When we see those with their own economic agenda, e.g. France, claiming a morally superior posture, we tend to dimiss that. Conspriacy theorists are so sure of lies but there is nothing even close to a proof that this is the case. I'm not saying there were no lies. There may very well have been and I welcome thorough investigations.

Again, this translates into a Bush victory.
