Hello Roebear
"I love it when you speak Frrench" :)

I agree with the gist of what you are saying in the first paragraph, however; Mars was trying to drive a wedge between Paul's "gospel" and the message of Christ Himself. I merely pointed out to him that there is no difference between the two.

The seeming difference if any comes from the fact that the gospels are essentially historical narratives (descriptive), while the letters of Paul and the other apostles were designed to teach and apply the truths found in the Gospels. In fact Paul claimed that he received his message directly from the risen Christ. Could that have been true if Paul was teaching a Gospel different from that of the Christ of the Gospels? NO! Paul would have to be labeled a false teacher if that were the case.

There was no conflict between Paul and the other apostles as the council of Jerusalem demonstrated (Acts 15:). Were there "Judaizers" in the early church? Yes. Was Paul's message different from that of Christ's? The answer is a resounding NO! There were false teachers and heretics in the Church from the very beginning. Paul did go to the Gentiles but only after he had exhausted every avenue within the Jewish community.

I am very excited to hear that the Gospel of John has been made into a film.

Nice to see a new face here;
have a great day
Greg
