E machines, the MacDonalds of computers offer great values. Just bought one for my grandkids for $199 on a special sale at Best Buy. 2.2 Celeron, 80gb hard drive, 256 Mg ram, CDRW, no monitor but a flat screen CRT was offered for $100. It seems to be every bit as functional as my two year old Dell for which I paid about 6 times more. This company has found a low priced niche in the world market, BUT it was taken private and will probably remain private. Rap
