I think Clark's "intra-military / political background" certainly is better than anything Clinton brought to Washington from Arkansas in 92 or Carter from Georgia. Look at Johnson he was the master backroom politician and what did it get him. I think the Presidency is more about who you gather around you as President, rather than what you bring to the table from personal experience. JMHO
