""hollow economic figures "" When Bush was elected USA entered recession on the top of regular recession we had 1)Internet stock bubble 2)Mass corporate fraud 3) 9/11 This recession should have been turned into deep depression comparable to 1929-1934 or worse Instead we passed it with unemployment that have not toped 7% (I personally know only one family that have been forced to sell house and that is in Silicon Valley) Success of Bush international policy and timely tax cuts saved the country from disaster
