PTR:
stockcharts.com[PA][D][F1!3!2.0!!2!20]&pref=G

Percentage chart looks fairly much like a std chart because the stock is right near $50. As 007 noted you have lower highs, but you also have a low pole warning which is positive. Very extended, so I'm not a buyer here, but this is one that got away from me. However, on the 2.5% box size you never got a double bottom break, and on the 1.5% box size you just got your first double top break after a few sell signals. You're rolling the dice with this one, but I find more positives on PTR than 007 did.

OSG:

Percentage chart on this one is easier to stomach than the standard chart. But after such a run I can't buy it without some sort of pullback. It does look fine to go higher, but the risk is substantial and the reward is indeterminate.

In summary, I can't buy either of these at this time, but if I owned them I'd keep them. Especially since PTR has a major trend in economic demand to support its price.

As an aside, one of my reasons for using percentage charts is because it reduces the need to change the box size. PTR through me for a loop, because the different box sizes revealed very different characteristics.
