>>>Is this what Clinton did when he bombed Iraq? Or was that used as a distraction from the stained dress?<<<

Dizzy--Not to lose the point I made in my post which you responded to, yes, how and why the American public hears what it hears is very interesting.

You are correct about Clinton. That's precisely what Clinton did when he bombed Iraq. But who would know then that his doing so would cause today's Bush to lie years later: "Saddam kicked out the inspectors!" Fact is, Clinton pulled those inspectors out before he began that bombing, a bombing that was of a distraction nature due to the hatred the Republicans were heaping on him.

Bombing to deflect from a sex scandal, or initiating a whole war in order to cover over a bad economy and a questionable legitimacy of the presidency, is rather sad. And one has to ask:

How ironic is it that our once cave-dwelling humanity thousands of years later found itself bombing caves?

Yes, there was a lot about Clinton that didn't make sense. But there's even more about Bush that doesn't make sense.

Get ready for the mantra: "It's time for a change!"
