Juar.... (or should I say...Huar) -LOL

Now... how does duck, become a [stuffed] turkey....

You seem to have some very peculiar rose colored glasses that allow you to see the world in the particular fashion your heart desire... [Depending on the specific mood you just happened to be --of course--]

Ah! The convenient 'adjustment' of the lenses, based on perhaps... a conservative slant one prefers?

Don't get me wrong... in [once] my world I used to "belong" to I had many conservative friends and acquaintances that, in spite of my [at the time] "radical" view of the world, events that came to be, which benefited me --not of my manufacture, but rather by my [what turned out to be] phenomenal "wisdom" [frankly, nothing to it, mere common sense, really]-- left said friends & acquaintances standing in the cold and outside looking in, while I... stayed warm, thank you very much, [-I shall have more of that-].... so no, I am not a "liberal" bitching at the world, how cruel it is to the masses, while the fat capitalist pigs [-ahem- present! -g] stay happy and smiling... yes... I am an "independent" i.e.: free of compromises and allegiances that hardly make sense many times... who is curious as to the many times tremendously shortsighted view that "conservatives" tend to hold...

Many remain friends, but the experience of life change us all dramatically, not allowing us to see the world the way we used to, in former times... it makes me wonder; although I doubt that age, or the experience of life in general, gives us stronger eye-sight, [on the contrary], I now have to use damned reading glasses, whereas before, I had superman vision -mind you color [the real one--not the political one--] blind, so discard that... except, of course, (or unless is a better term), one has access to he above mentioned... rose colored glasses --with the appropriate adjustment, I should add... -g

Still, I like my clear vision of former days, which in spite of time passed, remain as sharp as it can be... --reading glasses aside--

I can still call a duck, a duck... in my own paranoia, I try to stay ahead of whatever boogie monster en bogue seems to be under my [economic] bed and try to chase my lunch, i say f*-it, i shall slice it first --you now, even paranoids have enemies too.

So there... who is the stuffed turkey now, Mr. Long? -g
