There is only one offensive sentence in his statement, and I think the man is entitled to it even though he has proven to be wrong. My question is, "Why, on Earth, if he feels that way, would he ever have become a Democrat?". Democrats got us into Vietnam and were directly responsible for the deaths of 58,300 Americans. Democrats made the mess in Vietnam. Democrats have that blood on their hands. It is strange to me how anyone who lived through the Vietnam era could ever vote for a liberal president again. I can understand someone being liberal, but I can't understand them wanting a liberal as president. Liberals presidents are the people who have caused these problems -- Kennedy and Johnson in Vietnam, Carter in Iran, Clinton in North Korea and Iraq, as well as the failure to capture Bin Laden when he could have. Just goes to show that some people will put politics before everything else in their lives.
