Every time the 50 percent war disapproval mark was close, Bush or one of his officials told America another lie.

Check out Bush's approval ratings at the time Powell made his presentation, followed the next day by the Bush-Powell press conference, followed by the state of the union speech. And it was near this time when Bush staged that press conference where he only had pre-arranged questioneers, this to the exclusion of Helen Thomas who'd asked a question at every presidential news conference dating back to the Kennedy years.

Plain and simple, Bush's war on Iraq was scripted and had nothing to do with truth, justice and respect for international law.
