Lizzie, the market went down today, not because Keery won. That is Bush propaganda. The market kept going up even when Howard Dean, a more liberal, was the front runner. The market has had 8 straight weeks of gain. What goes up must come down. About immigration, there already exists in place to get software programmers legally. Bush'd immigration program does not touch that aspect of immigration law. His new proposal rewards illegal immigrants for violating US laws. His folks are explaining it away by saying that it derives greater benefit for big farmers and farm conglomerates who are currently hiring those illegal workers. So here again it is more geared towards corporate benefits. I know that these conservatives were so concerned that Clinton lied under oath and violated the law. What about rewarding the law violators now?
