JF, 28 years old. You have no idea what Vietnam was about.

I find your tone rather belittling, but perhaps I should clarify my feelings. I have no problem with Kerry's anti-war record itself, except for the minor fact that he threw someone else's medals over the fence. I believe his anti-war actions are understandable for a veteran who objected to the very war he fought.

I also wouldn't have a problem with Kerry trying to run away from his anti-war record, either, if he considered the entire subject of Vietnam a little too touchy (?) to discuss. But of course, we see him bragging about his Vietnam service every day, meaning he's obviously using his own service for political gain. Wouldn't it be fair to bring up the other side of the coin?
