Pres Bush once again mentioned personal retirement accounts to be invested in stock market.

That's iffy, but it's better than throwing it down a rat hole. I sympathize with those on the trailing end of the boomers, the ones who don't expect to get any return at all on what they're paying into the Ponzi Security System. I'll be interested in seeing the proposal. Like we already have retirement accounts--IRAs.

What is there to invest in other than American business?

Cannot believe anyone would trust that type of account to Wall Street

Cannot believe anyone would trust that type of account to Wall Street once again after the recent display of rampant corruption.

I see you have been investing for seven years. Did "rampant corruption" hurt you? I don't think so. You spend your time here badmouthing the system that feeds you.

The risk adjusted rate of return is much better then that of social security (except for those that got in to the social security program early, the people in at the beginning of a ponzi scheme can do well).

As for corruption in wall street yes it is a problem but its not as if government is immune.
