I am almost certain the GDP is erroneously reporting offshore production by US multinationals as domestic GDP. The "real" US based GDP is much less than the white house is reporting. It is going to be tough to fix because for example Cisco produces things half here, half Bangalore and then manufactures elsewhere. Impossible to count. But the crime is that I know the WH must know these figures are bogus and they report them anyway. Economies our size don't have 8% GDP unless its another bubble like 99- but larger.
