You guys are the "traitors" if you start slandering our military heros. Shameful. Just because no rightwing leader has ever been in combat don't be a jealous sour grapes vile basher. The Republican ex Green Beret whose life John saved in Nam showed respect. John McCain also shows his respect. You should too. You can disagree with John on issues but don't try to bash his very real heroism. For one thing, it's completely hypocritical as the right wing are supposed to respect military service. And no, Kerry rarely talks about his Vietnam experience. He has begun to this year but 99% of the talk is from other people. I recommend you read the Kery bio on boston.com to learn more, or at johnkerry.com. John;s story is very powerful and it was very difficult for hmi to protest the war after he came back. Some of his best friends were killed and he was wounded three times.
