I'm not arguing that many if not most CEOs aren't arrogant SOBs. I haven't had much experience with them. I have had experience with their equivalent in government and I know from experience that the corporate world doesn't have a monopoly on arrogant jerks. I imagine that many if not most stars in any field are not people you'd like to have in the family. It would certainly be better if all those folks in power were nicer human beings. If I'm going to buy a TV, though, it matters not a whit in my decision what kind of fellow runs the manufacturing company. What matters is that his company develops a good product at a competitive price. That's why he makes the big bucks.
