When was the report written? If it was started when the euro was about $.80 then GDP/capita should reach parity soon :)

I think it helps to keep in mind that a substantial segment of the European elite, and a smaller number here, don't want ANY growth. For them 0.05% is too much. It just hastens the day when Our Mother dies. I wonder how much of Europe's lack of performance can be blamed on their efforts to stifle growth?

They used the figures of 2% US growth, vs .05% EU growth.
