Completely Disagree. The majority of people like Bush- a lot - not the media elite and the hardcore democrat faithful but the other 60%+ for sure. I would be surprised- in fact astounded- if - all things being equal- Bush didn't win in an absolute landslide!

As for the 'almost amnesty' proposal - I think many against it just don't get it. We have illegal immigrants. They are here to stay. Best deal with the situation in a realistic, pragmatic method. Which his plan would do.

Unemployment is low. Very low compared to the rest of the world and the last 100 years in the US. There are hard working immigrants doing jobs at better prices then alternatives. God Bless them. Gotta run now, so can't continue this thought at this time. Check you later.

p.s. so, think Dean will drop out this month or in February? Hope he stays in for a while at least; shame he probably won't run against Bush (he'd be even easier to defeat then the other 'front runners').

Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that Howard Dean is a clinical psychopath, after watching his performance Monday night?

Anger and hatred are not platforms. It's the issues stupid!

Ann,

Please answer me one question. In your post you said: The majority of American people are made as hell at GW Bush and aren't going to take it anymore

I hear this constantly from people I work with. Yet, if this was true, then why in the 2002 midterm election did the Repubs pick up seats in BOTH houses? Surely, this would not have happened if the American people were "mad as hell" would it? If Bush really lost the 2000 election as your side claims and the people were mad as hell, why on earth did people across the country side with the Repubs in the very next election? It makes absolutely no sense!

I don't think you are looking at things objectively.

I would appreciate an answer grounded in facts and not rhetoric.

Brian

Senior aides to Howard Dean took several steps on Wednesday to overhaul his candidacy, including softening the tone of his speeches and eliminating high-voltage campaign rallies in favor of dignified appearances where he would present himself as a mature ex-governor with a command of health care and the economy.

The moves came as senior advisers expressed concern in interviews that Dr. Dean's candidacy was imperiled after a third-place finish in Iowa and a roaring, raucous concession speech that many opponents have held up as evidence that Dr. Dean is unfit to be president.
