I've noticed that they take it down in the AM and slowly wiggle it up all day for a ramp in the last hour.

Makes you feel warm and fuzzy to be short until it's too late to change. Then you say to yourself "I'll try one more day, we're due for a correction". Next, you lay in bed worried about being short, wake up to a down opening all warm and fuzzy, and start the cycle over again.
