I'm the classic anti-Bush voter, that makes me a member of the 40%+ in the "Bush negatives" polling. So I will vote against Bush no matter who the dem candidate is. There are 3 things important to me in a pres/VP team. These are budget balancer, question free trade agreements, repair damaged foreign relations/doveish war stance.

I would have picked Dean and Clark as Pres/VP in either order as ideal, with Dean strong in trade/econ/budget and Clark obviously war. Or, in lieu of that team, Kerry/Edwards maybe with Kerry war/budget and Edwards trade. Or Clark/Edwards.

There is no one candidate that I know of who has all credentials so I am looking for a team. I expect most folks under 40 who are not making their living off the stock market to give serious thought to a Bush challenger. People that are over 40 appear to be in some sort of denial as to the job loss, that I have seen. Unless they are in an immune field involving the ballooning gov't spending or other Bush pork.
