Dave RE..Hey, he may have been had he lived. But the comparison isn't with JFK. The comparison is with Teddy. Teddy is no John Kennedy.

Teddy might have made a great president, if he could only drive across a bridge without killing someone.

JFK is not the #1 Kennedy? Oh yes he is. You start comparing Kerry to "Kennedy" people think John Kennedy not Teddy. Teddy is a very different man than John Kerry, but JFK isn similar in many ways.

John Kerry has more in common with JFK and RFK than Teddy, who never served in combat. Kerry's combat experience largely honed his character as a man. He like JFK was a small boat captain.

Teddy is an expert at health care and education. Kerry's expertise is more in the areas of counter-terrorism, prosecution of the law, foreign affairs and energy/environment
