LB,

You didn't show that article to American Spirit, did you.
It wasn't very complimentary to Kerry. It was amusing though in last paragraph when writer said he could not listen to Kerry for 4days let alone 4yrs. That's my reaction after watching GW Bush's various habitual grimaces for past 4yrs.

John McCain just explained how many Repub senators are aghast at the huge pork contained in GW's budget. Evidently, the Pres is still listening to Cheney's statement that "deficits don't matter." I wonder if 500 lives snuffed out in Iraq matter to that man. Whenever an Adm decides it will send sons & daughters of average Americans to war, it should be mandated that the children of the Pres & his W.H. staff, plus congressional sons & daughters should be required to go as well. Something tells me those troops would not stay one day longer than absolutely necessary. It's easy to play Gods with other parents' childrens lives.

The whole "special interests" stump is such a staple of political campaigns, it doesn't even register with me anymore. Oh look, he's in his "special interests" stage. Isn't that cute!

Always have to do the "changing Washington" schtick.
