Re: Come on you must be joking, we have destroyed every foreign relationship we ever had.

You mean France, Russia and Canada? There are approximately 40 countries in the Coalition so I think it is you who must be joking. Personally, I could care less what France thinks of us, as they were not attacked. I do not think it would be a prudent foreign policy to get a general world consensus before taking any action whatsoever if there is a threat to us....that is utterly naieve and stupid.

One more thing-please do not fall under the mistaken notion that France and the like are anti-war because they are peace lovers! They had huge contracts with Iraq worth 10's of Billions of dollars.

It should also be noted here that Canada recently appointed a more USA friendly PM.

It should further be noted that Libya is now letting inspection teams into the country!

Re: Tax cuts saving the country from disaster.
NOOOO. I don't think so

Okay, I'll bite. What is your solution? I personally disagreed with the dividend tax cuts, but clearly overall they appear to be working as we just witnessed 8.2% GDP growth, the highest in 19 years and an amazing growth rate for a country of our size.

Dean's solution is to do away with most of the tax cuts and nearly guarantee another recession! I think I'll pass, thank you.

I don't think dividend tax cuts saved anybody from anything except maybe Bush's crony friends who are involved in non-growth smokestack industries and are jealous of Nasdaq stock market gains.

This is one area where we agree. The "important" people do not realize how important technology is to our country.
