Combat fatigue? In some ways Iraq duty helps Army
Soldiers are more experienced than ever

A very important but overlooked (by that writer) part of this is the deployment and replacement of entire units rather than individuals.

Finally our Army has learned to do that...and what a morale boost it is. WE now have combat hardened units rather than individuals...and they stay together for the next deployment.

Operational Security and Force Protection are working better than ever too. The largest troop move since WWII is underway and it is hard to find a press comment on individual units' movements.
