Brian,
Bush is supposed to be a conservative. Short time ago they espoused balanced budget, not deficit spending...unless they're desperate to win the election. They have taken a page from Bill Clinton's book--he won by co-opting Repubs fiscal responsibility philosophy. Repubs have become the Democrats of old...spend, spend, spend.
