well, you really didn't address my questions,
which is not surprising at all.

Your links also did not contradict anything I said to AS.
Both you and s/he have some major psychological
problem with the "ultra rich". The only hysteria I've
seen around here is your now-denoted-as-merely-sarcastic
suggestion that only half the wealth of "ultra rich"
types you disdain should be taken.

That and stupid comments like this one of yours:

Give back Bush's tax cuts and stop complaining. In this country, the rich have it the best in the world with the notable exception of Russia. They should be grateful that we allow them to get away with the schiesse that they do.

Who's this "we" and "they"? What have you (apparently
part of the "we") allowed anyone to do? What are you
really talking about? More interestingly, what have
you accomplished in your own life?

Better yet, is that statement an admission that
anyone who got a tax cut is "rich"?

I've repeatedly made my points clear about
the class warfare BS you and those of your ilk
continue to espouse.

Your post is full of "us" vs. "them."

You decline to define "rich".

You haven't explained how the "rich" "giving
back the Bush tax cuts" solves anything.

You haven't addressed the fundamental issue
of why anyone should be overtaxed.

Instead, you toss around glittering
generalities and rehashed Dem rhetoric.

My post to AS reacted to his/hers and your
notions and bellyaching about the "ultra rich."
As I've indicated, all the wealth of the top 400
discussed in your little link, taken together,
would not cover a single year's budget.
So my reaction to all your links was "so what?"
(If I were a Kerry fan, I might have said
so f*cking what?<g>)

The point is that there aren't many people who
fall into that category. Being jealous of the
ultra rich is a waste of time and energy, don't
you think?

The sad truth is that you want to tax everyone
BUT you. There are many people in this country
who would be quite dismayed to learn that
they are the targets of guys like you.
These are households with 2 spouses working who together
may just earn a 6 figure income and feel anything but "rich."
