What does your little tear jerker have to do with GW; or did he lead the raid. I assume it is because you are against the Patriot Act. However, did you know that the Patriot Act, specifically has a passage defending the rights of people of Middle eastern descant. If this woman's civil rights were violated, those violations went beyond the scope of the Patriot ACt. Why don't you list which specific rights were violated and then I can send a letter of protest to Wash.

She and her family were incarcerated for 9 months. The charges against them were vague. The arrests were made under the Patriot Act. Her situation is not an isolated example.......it has happened throughout the country. People were kept in prison indefinitely.

On NBC News tonite, they reported on an Italian who was arrested twenty years ago on drug charges. He went to prison for 4 years, came out and turned his life around. He now has two kids, a wife and a good job. They arrested him under the Patriot Act and were trying to deport him. Finally, after repeated court appearances, the gov't proscuters agreed to back off..........for now.

What the Patriot Act says and what's actually happening seem to be two different things. More and more cities are voting to oppose it.....see the link below.

Sorry but I do not trust this gov't to do the right thing!
