Edwards could develop momentum ..... ..... on a serious level. Although obscure until this week, he is a heavyweight. The man has stature beyond imagination. He was the best kept secret before Iowa. NO LONGER!!! The fact is, though, that the only person who can beat Dubya is Dubya. Deficits, deaths in Iraq, collapsing dollar, cronyism. When the country starts to take Edwards seriously, watch the credibility of his attacks on Dubya. We'll start to think he's E. F. Hutton. The country simply doesn't want to listen to Kerry. It will listen to Edwards. Middle America (Iowa) just listened to him and said they liked what he said. Oh, I have another good one for you, Laura. A buddy of mine in grade school, Tom Vilsack, is now the Governor of Iowa. Life's a hoot, isn't it? /john
