Issues like gay marriage and shifting sexual mores are tricky terrain for a self-described uniter like Bush.

Of course, there is absolutely nothing I like about this proposed program. But what gripes me the most about it is that they want to teach collaboration skills to couples, like actively listening to each other and respecting each other, while they contribute to the polarization in the country. What they want to teach to couples is important in marriage and in business and in politics and in international relations. Advocating it in one venue while eschewing it in others, well, like I said, it gripes me.
