listen, how many times can explain those tables for you? You, clearly, are not getting it.

I'll try one more time

1) the stats that you referred to where the stats of income share not buying power
2) the only reasonable approach is to look at percentiles without introducing the definition of middle class as an income range. If you introduce it as an income range, as very often done, then you fix the grows rate with it. Example: if you define the middle class income to be at $80K/year then it would remain there by definition
3) your composition argument is invalid as well because
a) composition did not change enough to account for changes in income - feel free to prove me wrong
b) household income is household income regardless of the sources, you should know that
