I am in favor of free trade as well but it should be free on both sides......

And you, yourself, told us about trade restrictions in France....

Aye, Neo... but I'm afraid we may not get significant lowering of trade barriers in the areas where we have competitive advantage (services, technology, etc.) unless we also give up our own market-distorting trade barriers in the areas where we don't have significant free market advantages (subsidized commodity agriculture).

Of course, in the 'Ag Subsidy' arena, Japan and Europe are our fellow anti-free trade 'bad guys'... and - percentage-wise - are even more egregious then us.
