I see nothing in the Presidents proposal that suggests anyone is giving up the right to determine who can enter and stay in the country.

The only absolute law is that all men are created equal by God. Man, and the American laws of man do not follow that absolute law. Americans argue over how to come as close as possible to the ideal. That is at the core of how one treats those who were not within the physical borders of the US at the moment of their birth.

The legal control of immigration is in it's implementation a clear statement of action that all men were not created equal.

So until one knows the exact details of the law and regulations, I find statements about rewarding criminals idiotic.

And one can ask, does God say you have the right to kill any who cross an invisible line defined by men with guns. Men can make good laws and bad or dumb laws. Men can decide to risk ignoring bad law or dumb law.

I see no logic in your statement about what the GOP aims in permitting. I think you should try to find out how to spell out what is proposed.

Or you can listen to what ever talking head you want to.

Immigration law show attempt to minimize making acts of pursuing life liberty and happiness criminal. Observing the fact that all men are created equal and control so that mostly good occurs from free men entering this country.
