I can't imagine a better source on the input cost trenches. I'm primarily checking for psychology. Just read between the lines though, given that their bias and job is to keep prices low for their companies. There is a bit of the banding together for the cause mentality, for sure. But still there are numerous signs of distress and frustration that creep into current reporting and dialogue. Read the steel price banter especially.

To me they seem confused and bewildered right now, exactly what you'd expect at the cusp of a big inflation outburst. They don't want to be caught out of essential materials (and get fired), nor do the want to be a patsy. I don't envy their jobs right now, is incredibly tough in an inflationary rampage. That's why inflations are so destabilizing to everybody, especially producers. It's going to be a weekly, if not daily tracking situation.
