Anyone who'd wish to scroll through the dialogue of SI's DON'T START THE WAR THREAD will find that the conditions described in the Miami Herald reporting were foretold by many on that thread. However, those of us who claimed this would happen were then called "pinheads," among other obnoxious names. Oh, well, I guess such is the price for truth!

SA and Japan paid less than $27B of $61B, can you count?

plus $61B did not include many of the US specific costs

re: Then, you are in error. Germany is deployed under a NATO mandate there.

I'd like to know what you mean by mandate since not all NATO members participated and most of the burden was on US
