Consider Gilder Technology Letter was distributed via the internet (and some snail mail); 60K would be total subscribers.

If Calandra's Stockwatch had 500K internet-readers/subscribers prior to his starting THE @#$%@^#% REPORT ....

..... just imagine how many '1999 bubble-mania' investors (and I was one of them) would subscribe to a newsletter by THE man who brought us JDSU, SDLI, etc. :-?
