She consoled herself by exchanging credit for an equal-armed open framed platinum cross (sign of peace that predates the unequal-armed Roman cross that was once a Roman torture instrument by 1500 years, according to "The Da Vinci Code") with one arm dusted with diamonds, and the center of the cross highlighted by a perfectly round, lustrous, and silk textured black pearl.
