Ted, I was talking about his mandate or the lack there of.

I remember when conservatives were complaining that Bill Clinton never won majority votes in both the 1992 and 1996 elections. The insinuation, of course, was that Clinton didn't win decisively, therefore he shouldn't lead decisively. (Not that he did, but that's beside the point. <G>)


Clinton won the popular vote in both elections; Bush did not. Big difference!
