Well I for one am sorry to see you go. I meant it when I said that I enjoyed your "back on the ranch" posts. If I failed to respond to you when you think I should have, I'm sorry. Frequently, I just don't have anything to say (even though I'm sure others wish I would shut up). On other occasions, by the time I get back to the thread, anything I would say is already stale. If you come across any good books, let us know. Here's a comment on a current movie.

coug: Sorry that you feel the way you do...

I am not attacking Howard Dean. Yet, I do not feel he would be the strongest candidate to run against Bush...The weblog I posted to you was meant for the thread to read and comment on IF they want to...this weblog is an interesting one...

journalism.nyu.edu

This discusses who may have created 'the front runner' and whether the press should shoulder some responsibility for their actions.

I have not made a final decision on a candidate yet. I really like Wesley Clark but I'm also seriously considering John Kerry.

Howard Dean has energized many new voters and was ready and willing to take on the president...he has played a valuable role. Yet, I'm not convinced that Governor Dean would become the strongest Democratic nominee. Our main goal should be to do everything possible to DEFEAT GEORGE BUSH IN 2004.

We have A LOT of great folks posting on this thread and I hope we see you actively posting here again.

regards,

Coug, you lend a great perspective...stick it out, ignore the rudeness. Sometimes people do not respond because they may not have anything to say that they think anyone would be interested in reading....

Give freely and appreciate whatever comes back.

Scott
