had diner with a friend last night. he financed a guy who recently started a retail cell phone store. my friend owns 51% of the company. the cell phone guy owns the rest.

my friend just noticed the guy took some money out of the company and repaid it a week later. it turns out the guy has 100k in credit card debt. this is someone who has been making 80k/yr. his wife makes 40k.

the credit card companies keep sending him cards and rolling over his debt.

I don't think there is much testing for H5N1 in humans except under special circumstances. many times the testing doesn't go beyond Influenza A. If it was sub-typed for H3 or H1, I think H5 would be suspect if the samples couldn't be typed.

The initial cases in Vietnam were said to not be SARS and to be Influenza A. No sub-typing was given. See bottom of
