If you think bond values have nothing to do with exponents,
I suggest you read the Hull "Options, Futures, and Other
derivatives", Chapter 4, before you post such rubbish again.
I did. Sorry about name calling. Unfortunately, I did not
remove it before you read it. That bond is at 102, because
of the price of the option which the government bought from
public, in fine print, along with that bond, nothing else.
That option is deep in the money now.
