The only reason spending is even debated is because the Democrats think they can use the debate as a weapon to increase criminal taxation. In that respect, the Democrats are wrong, and the fact that they can win few if any elections, without fabricating votes using illiterate zombies, is a major part of the proof. The key to success of any Republican administration is to reduce or eliminate taxes on capital formation, and thus create the prosperity that the Democrats are fighting so hard against. The resulting tax revenues from that prosperity marginalize, in economic terms, any deficit spending that occurs while the economy adjusts to its restored liberty. Only by PURGING the Marxist/Leninist anti-American left wing domestic enemy can the atmosphere be created where the Great Frauds, pork spending, and government-enhancing interference with the efficient functions of private property be successfully attacked. The mission of the Bush team is to re-create that prosperity that Clinton/Rubin did their best to destroy. Only upon reaching political dominance, can the administration then significantly demolish the socialist monstrosity that the domestic enemy has spent decades creating.
