Jochen, the bloody Germans just keep coming back for more. It must be built into the German DNA to run totalitarian, individual-suppressing, goose-stepping officially approved ideas and beliefs. What's wrong with free speech? It seems perfectly reasonable to me to deny that something is true when one doesn't have direct evidence satisfactory to one's own perceptions. I thought Erwin Schrodinger pbs.org was a German and his cat's reality depended on an observer observing that the cat was actually alive. Okay, he was only German like Hitler was, but surely he taught Germans about facts as observed and creation of reality by observation rather than compulsory belief.
Some of the German DNA has obviously got into Chinese, North Koreans and blow me down if it's not in the average Kiwi, [even though we won the war]. It's illegal here to express certain ideas. Dad's cousin dnzb.govt.nz was gaoled for saying "Ladies and Gentlemen" whereupon he was interrupted and carted off by the constabulary. The USA seems to have some of that DNA too. In fact, it seems to have polluted the planet. I think Homeland Security would define people as being enemy combatants worthy of being held without trial indefinitely if one said certain things. That Padilla guy is still in a cage, without trial, even though he's one of those specially excellent American humans with extra human rights unlike we aliens who are either collateral damage or suitable for "trial" in Guantanamo Bay.
Surely there was more to the Australian being gaoled than a simple statement "Auschwitz is a lie", whatever that means. Perhaps he also advocated some sort of violence, which is a threat, which is different from an opinion about the truth of things. Or maybe he fraudulently defamed somebody by lying about the facts of something.
People often claim all sorts of obviously absurd things and expect others to believe them. Some people think that some guy in the middle east was nailed to a cross, killed, and that he was actually a supernatural spook who then sneaked out of a corporeal state to an ethereal one. Come on! Who could believe that one? What about Santa? Some fat guy with a pipe swooping around the world in less than 24 hours in a flying-deer sleigh. Pigs might fly! How about the claim that Americans landed on the moon? The movie Independence Day looked more realistic. Now they say there's a little Ford car on Mars. How about that? They even claim there's a Mars. I've never seen Mars that looked like something you could drive a car around on. I've seen a little light in the sky which people assert is Mars. But I don't really know unless I just join their Mars Worshipping cult.
I've been to Dachau and to the Holocaust Museum in Washington. I've seen better movie sets.
To believe the Holocaust stuff, I have to accept that Germany in the 1930s was full of ignorant, crazed, violent, murderous people sufficient to get madness public support by way of election, and that they decided to collect millions of people from all over the place, putting them on trains to big prisons, gassing them and doing it by the million. Okay, I know Germans are pretty weird, but to ask me to believe they would come up with such a scheme is absurd. What's more, they are alleged to have selected the smartest people in the country to exterminate. People like Albert Einstein, Irwin Jacobs, Andrew Viterbi, Klein Gilhousen, that funny guy in Noo Yawk would all have been murdered. No way!
When I went through the Holocaust Museum, they had little booklets about people who are supposed to have been killed, which they gave us to carry through as we went. I thought I'd take a look through them and was surprised to find that they were all males. I couldn't find a female booklet. I wondered why that was. That was in 1999 so maybe they've got some females in the cast now. Or maybe it was all blokes in the Holocaust? But not according to rumour.
The whole thing is preposterous. Heck, it was only 60 years ago. A million of them would still be alive today and we don't read about any trials of those who are supposed to have been flat out doing it. No punishment of those who voted for Adolf who is supposed to have written a book called Mein Kampf which described his ideas. You would know some of them. Heck, you might be one of them.
I think Auschwitz is a lie and that Erwin Schrodinger is still alive and so is Elvis. Unless I can open the box in which they are alleged to be and check the facts for myself, I have to put the claims down as being like the claims that Santa is finally going to bring me what he promised 5 decades ago, that Mr Christ wasn't just a freedom promoting individualist opposed to dominance hierarchy totalitarian murder-based state empires, and was really a supernatural spook, that Elvis is dead and that Schrodinger's Cat is dead.
Surely you Germans didn't really do what's claimed. It seems absurd that Germans en masse could be so ignorantly barbarous in living memory. Please tell me it isn't so. I'll believe you. But then again, gaoling tourists who don't think something is true seems pretty weird. Maybe they did do it.
I went to Hiroshima too and that was an excellent movie set. They made out that the USA fried alive nearly half a million people in noocular explosions. Now that really is absurd. We all know that the USA is dead against weapons of mass destruction.
I also have seen on TV Russian parades of big rockets, alleged to be noocular bomb carriers, but they were bumping along very lightly as though they were actually made of paper mache or cardboard, like the "tanks" and stuff which Milosevic used as decoys for US bombers to attack.
Best of all was the 911 movie. I have seen [1976 and 1999] the buildings which are alleged to have been destroyed, so one day I'll go back and see if they are really still there. If they aren't, I'd have to find some evidence of how they were actually removed.
I did see the Rainbow Warrior under water, so I know it was sunk, but I don't really know that the French did it, but you can easily believe that of the perfidious bastards. I don't doubt that one.
The USA has a lot of Germans in it. Maybe that's what's driving their militaristic zeal [look at their budgets compared with the rest of the world]. Combine that with the English DNA which is as expansionary as the German and it's not surprising they are going as they are. AND they've got the smart Jews who are inventing CDMA and a lot more besides.
I hope nobody thinks this is racist! I'm not racist. Heck, some of my best friends are English, German, American, French, Chinese, Korean, Australian, Jewish and Kiwi. I've even have some of that DNA in me and I'm certainly not racist against me. Hey, what about those Arabs? Some of them supported the Germans if my cult belief systems are correct.

Freedom in New Zealand <The day after the Second World War was declared in September 1939, Burton and two others condemned it before a crowd of 200 outside Parliament. Under emergency regulations only hours old, expressing such views was unlawful and all three were arrested. Burton was visited in gaol by the deputy prime minister, Peter Fraser, who was worried that Burton, a returned soldier and a charismatic speaker, might attract the nucleus of a large and embarrassing anti-war movement. Burton rejected Fraser’s plea to desist and resumed speaking in Allen Street. He was arrested and fined three times in the next four months, and after a large meeting in February 1940 at Pigeon Park, was sentenced to a month’s hard labour. On his release he went straight back to the speaking podium and was imprisoned for a further three months. When he was in prison Nell Burton spoke from a soap box at the Basin Reserve and carried on their work in the parish. > |
