I did not "sneer at the head of our army for praising the fact that soldiers are getting better at their job." (I omitted the weird caps.) You made that up to obfuscate. These are the only statements of the General's that I criticized: ...."There is a huge silver lining in this cloud," [the cloud = 9/11 and subsequent events] he said. "War is a tremendous focus... Now we have this focusing opportunity, and we have the fact that [terrorists] have actually attacked our homeland, which gives it some oomph."
