Peter, That I think was basically Reagens thoughts. I remember him saying, "Politicians are like children, the more money you give them the more they will spend". I happen to agree with you that raising taxes does not solve the problem for the very reasons you give. However, it will probably take a taxpayer revolt to get the true reforms necessary to run this country in an efficient manner. I think the Democraps are continually trying to pit the have nots against the haves for the very reason of avoiding this revolt. jdn
