those are not the problems that caused me to look at this group as shorts. SSB was pointing out some bad management decisions and minor business fluctuations.

These issues may affect the stock a few percent here and there.

Not that it will happen but I am looking for another round of actual real estate depreciation country wide, or at least in the major markets along the two coast lines. These companies could literally be cut in half.

So what is happening? I must say it is most confusing.

Per my recent Calif DRE bullentin, Los Angeles just had a mega exam on November 22. 3,600 candidates took the Real Estate exam in the Convention Center, while another 2,000 took the exam in the Oakland Convention Center. Is this telling us anything? Employment problems? Still chasing that dream?

In San Diego, sales are really low. Low, not slow. The inventory is only around 4000 units. I have never seen a market like this before and have no clue how it will play out in the end.
